Along with Fort Knox, the Bucksport Narrows Bridge makes for a Maine two-for-one trip. One reasonably priced ticket gets you a ride in an elevator up to the observation deck in the tower of the bridge commanding fantastic views. Then pop over to Fort Knox and explore a historic military stronghold with tunnels, canon, powder magazines, and wide views across the Penobscot River.
